Why attend counselling?
You may have been struggling with a particular mental health problem for a long time or perhaps an event or change in circumstances has brought new issues to bear. Maybe you are just feeling a bit lost or disconnected. In any case sometimes the first step is the hardest, but often the most important. If you do feel like you would benefit from talking to someone, please reach out. I am eager to help you do life better.
What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is a style of talking therapy used to combat a number of mental health issues, most commonly OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder). CBT teaches coping mechanisms for dealing with a variety of situations and focuses on how our thoughts and beliefs affect our feelings and actions.
